By now, everyone was going to their first period, so the ringmaster followed them. They found themselves in a class known as “industrial arts”. The teacher, after seeing the ringmaster, raised an eyebrow, but quickly dismissed it as they explained to the class that today, they were learning about interdimensional portals. This intrigued the ringmaster, as they did not know where the portal they arrived from led to until now. As he learned more and more about portals, the masked creature slowly lumbered to the little jags preschool. One of the preschoolers saw him and called out to the others, who all looked at the creature. They were not scared in the slightest. Rather, they saw the creature as a giant imaginary friend that they all manifested, and they started to climb on the masked creature. The creature smiled and let this happen, as in it’s home plane it took care of kids before. It simply relaxed and let the kids climb over them, as the teachers of the preschoolers took a much-needed break. As they did this, the wizardly creature was having a very intellectual conversation with the librarian about stories when the librarian told them about a book giving info about portals. This made the wizard very interested, so the librarian told them to wait while they got it. While they did that, the three creatures made a telepathic meeting for themselves. It went something like this:

Ringmaster: what’s up, wizard?

Wizard: portals!

mask:…HUH?

Ringmaster: ah, you found info relating to the portals! Nice. i did too!

Wizard: yippee!

Mask: THAT’S… GREAT. CAN WE… GO HOME NOW?

Ringmaster: not yet. We still need to find a way to create a new portal, and that’s no easy task. Wizard: hmm. My magic doesn’t work here.

Mask: INTERESTING. UNTIL THEN… I SHALL… STAY HERE.

Ringmaster: got it. Conversation over?

Wizard: bonversation over!
